I posted a Grand List of Crossover Communities over at crossover_news today-- every public comm that my watcher journal has friended. I don't know how many of you are watching the newsletter, but if you have any interest in crossovers at all, I'd appreciate if you'd give the list a once over. If there's any comm you know of that I should be watching that isn't in that list, please leave a comment!

Also: I was recently asked to repost one of my stories at evilbluewesley. I'd never heard of the comm before, but it has an interesting premise: what if Illyria had possessed Wesley, instead of or in addition to Fred? It only has a couple of posts to date, but I thought I'd give it a quick pimp in case any of you would like to write or read that kind of story.

OK, so I was going to put a full months' worth of entries into the first issue of crossover_news. HAH! The watcher journal for the comm is all the way back to skip=520, and that only covers two weeks. So, I thought maybe a lot of it could be dross and double-posting from friended authors, which I could scroll right past. Only... not so much. It's taken me about four hours just to cover the week of July 30-August 5, so I went ahead and threw that much up and am now compiling the newsletter entry to cover August 5-August 12.

That second entry, including a few comms I think I remember intending to rec, will go up later tonight. Though it may be a lot later, as I still haven't written today's ficathon entry, or responded to comments or anything.

So! Go forth and read my newsletter and validate all this effort for me, would you? *puppy dog eyes* You may even see your name there!
