OK, so I was going to put a full months' worth of entries into the first issue of
crossover_news. HAH! The watcher journal for the comm is all the way back to skip=520, and that only covers two weeks. So, I thought maybe a lot of it could be dross and double-posting from friended authors, which I could scroll right past. Only... not so much. It's taken me about four hours just to cover the week of July 30-August 5, so I went ahead and threw that much up and am now compiling the newsletter entry to cover August 5-August 12.
That second entry, including a few comms I think I remember intending to rec, will go up later tonight. Though it may be a lot later, as I still haven't written today's ficathon entry, or responded to comments or anything.
So! Go forth and read my newsletter and validate all this effort for me, would you? *puppy dog eyes* You may even see your name there!
...Back to the grindstone with me!

> I'm amazed you're putting out the newsletter on your own.
I know. I thought I'd get it up and running for awhile, adjust until I have a decent template going, and then ask for additional help. That way, less confusion; I could point and say, "See, *this* is the way I want it, though feel free to add additional categories as applicable", kind of a thing. We'll see how that works out. =)
