Book's Legacy: Update

*flopping on floor* So, I've managed to post 7,500 words' worth for the finishathon.

The Index for "Book's Legacy" is here. The first 6.5 chapters been rewritten a little, but not terribly much. If you prefer to skip over all of the old stuff and go straight to the new, though, the new chapters are as follows, all posted to watching_river:

I have more scribbles, but I might not get them up this weekend, as my best friend out in Eastern Oregon whose phone number stopped working months ago suddenly called me today and informed me she's inbound and wants to get together this weekend. Eeee!!! I've missed her so, so much, and I haven't seen her son since before he was crawling; he's eighteen months old now.

I can't wait for her to get here, but it does mean I have to clean my house, and that's after I go and clean my mother's, which, she's probably over there wondering where the hell I'm at. TTYL!!!!!

Oooh! Have fun with your friend. It's always lovely to catch up with people you haven't seen in a long while.

I know. She was my BFF all the way up until she got married, and since then I'm lucky to hear from her once every six months or so. I understand the distance and all, but I really miss her.

Relationships wax and wane and getting hitched is a pretty big adjustment. Hopefully this is the start of a new waxing period for you two. :D
