I am now the proud owner of a Veritas Aequitas t-shirt. Rawr. Now all I need is a pair of tickets to the special one-night-only rescreening of BDS on May 22nd. I can't believe our theater is one of the ones participating!

(Oh, and BTW, I most heartily do not recommend American Dreamz. I laughed, and laughed, and laughed-- but mostly with disbelief and embarassment, especially at the ending sequence. Though seeing Willem Dafoe in that chief of staff role so shortly after experiencing him as Agent Smecker? Absolutely priceless, in a whiskey tango foxtrot sort of way).

Williem Dafoe is defenantly into roles that make you go WTF. I don't remember him in any 'normal' roles.

The very first thing I saw him in was "Clear and Present Danger", where he played John Clark. I was such an OMG fan of the Jack Ryan 'verse at the time, that he was written onto my brain cells instantly. So it's pretty much a fresh shock every time I see him in anything else. *lol*

*snerk* I actually said it aloud the other day, after picking it up off my friends list (wonder where) and actually received the WTF? face in response. Sadly, it was not by way of illustration, but from lack of understanding. =P

Heh. It's very, very painful to watch (an absolutely cartoonish level of parody) and the ending is just bizarre, but I did leave the theater holding my sides and feeling pretty damn high from flailing around in my seat in disbelief, so ... =)
