What is the Wishlist?

The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It started very small and simple several years ago: the premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will. Since then it's grown and changed a bit.

I have signed up to be a writer. If you want to give me a prompt, please leave a comment on this entry; and if you want to see what I wrote for it in past fests, just click the wishlist tag.

Rules

• I accept the first 24 prompts I am given, regardless of who you are or if I know you.
  
  (ALL FILLED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS; WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED; I LOVE YOU GUYS.)



• You give me characters/pairing, a fandom and a prompt. (Please don't skip the prompt part).



• If I'm not offering the fandom you're requesting, I reserve the right to refuse the prompt.
  
  The current offerings list is: Buffy/Angel-verse; Stargate SG-1/Atlantis; Firefly/Serenity; Star Trek XI or TOS; Iron Man or The Avengers (MCU); Fast and the Furious series; Leverage; The Dresden Files; Grimm; Falling Skies; The Walking Dead; Person of Interest; Terra Nova; and the Riddick-verse. And new this year: Sleepy Hollow, Olympus Has Fallen, and Pacific Rim.
  
  
• If I find your prompt in any way offensive, I will disregard it, too. Fair warning.



• Your prompts can be for a crossover or not - either is fine - and should be in line with what I usually write. (That's a loose guideline, I know, but basically don't be deliberately ornery, okay? I don't have the energy for it this year.) It can be a quote, an idea, a specific situation, but the more you give me, the more I have to work with. Throwing Character X/Character Y, 'whatever' at me is going to get you 'whatever'.



• If you don't have an LJ account, you can give your DW/IJ/TtH/AO3/whatever name in an anonymous comment, but do make sure to sign it. If you do not sign with a name I will not use your prompt.



• I answer the prompts in the order I like best and post them, one a day, starting 1st, Dec 2013. (At least, that's the goal. I may not hit it, but whatever I don't make, I'll finish before the next December 1 for sure).

Fandom: Buffy/Grimm
After post Chosen in season 7 of Buffy. Season 2 for Grimm (Juliette has left post love cure since Nick wouldn't tell her his secret)
Pairing: Nick/Buffy/Renard

Renard had his Grim, but what he forgot is every King also needs a Queen. Now that he has both, he's never letting either go. Nick never knew what it was like to have a true equal and now that he has two he's never going back. And Buffy is just happy she doesn't have to choose between having her cake and eating it too.

If it's not too presumptuous, I'll put in for your choice of sequels: specifically, either

# a follow-up to last year's "Out of the Shadows of History" (we saw Balthazar and Loki atop Stark Tower; now I find myself wondering about Pepper Potts and Veronica crossing paths during the subsequent chaos),

or

# a new episode in the "Scion of Musagetes" sequence (is Alexis likely to tell Kate about Castle's parentage on her own now that the two are officially a couple, or might circumstances conspire to force the issue?).

Heh. The answer to that one depends on whether I can get my hands on S5 of Castle cheaply, 'cuz any further SoM fic really needs to also at least glancingly deal with Castle's wtf canon parentage reveal. But either will be a lot of fun to write. :)

Characters: Nick Fury, Phil Coulson
Prompt: Each has differing criteria for what personalities make a good team. How to resolve their ideals, and how do they form *sort of* a team of two, themselves?

I would love any reminiscing that Nick could do regarding his Howling Commandos, but am 98 per cent certain that this MCU does not contain the Howlers. Would also love to be proven in error, and beg indulgence about not knowing details about a great many of the Marvel movies.

And Fred has always had a hard time saying no to her boys - even if they change across dimensions.
