Finishathon Voting Open
Aug. 16th, 2008 07:19 pmSo: the finishathon voting opened yesterday.
I'm... actually surprised by the way the voting is going at present. I plan to write at least one chapter for each of those stories by the end of the year, regardless; in some cases, it's been awhile. But the one I thought would win, of those? Is currently third, at nine total votes to the current winner's twenty. Not that I mind; I adore all my major universes. But it's quite unexpected, given recent commentary traffic, and given last year's voting.
Anyway. If you, my faithful readers, also want to have an influence on which story I will commit 10,000 words to by the end of October? Click on the link above, and vote before August 23rd. (And consider voting in the other polls as well).

Date: 2008-08-17 02:32 am (UTC)My poll keeps on switching around, though the one I was considering not putting up... is currently in the lead. Ooops! Still, I think with that one, it was either write it now, or not write it at all, since it's a post-Season fix-it story, which means now is the time to write it.

I hear you there; I think most of the reason my #4 WIP is still a WIP after all this time-- when I started writing it in 2004-- is because Season 7 of Buffy and Season 4 of Angel diverged rather sharply from where I was going, and then both shows ended on a rather disappointing note. Hard to work my motivation back up, and figure out where I was going with it, after that.
