Notes: Movieverse AU. The first part was originally written as a series of 400-word promptfic for TwistedShorts community in 2006; finally reworked in January 2010 into a more coherent, continuous tale, with ~1600 new words.

"RRTS Special Ops Clearance Verified," the computerized voice called out. "Handle ID, Slayer."

[The Watchers discovered a 24th chromosome attached to Slayer DNA, a magically activated mutation that mysteriously matched recent discoveries at the Olduvai archaeological dig. But no-one was quite sure what it meant.....]

I am now the proud owner of a Veritas Aequitas t-shirt. Rawr. Now all I need is a pair of tickets to the special one-night-only rescreening of BDS on May 22nd. I can't believe our theater is one of the ones participating!

(Oh, and BTW, I most heartily do not recommend American Dreamz. I laughed, and laughed, and laughed-- but mostly with disbelief and embarassment, especially at the ending sequence. Though seeing Willem Dafoe in that chief of staff role so shortly after experiencing him as Agent Smecker? Absolutely priceless, in a whiskey tango foxtrot sort of way).
