Two Hours I'll Never Get Back

Went to X-3 today with maevebran. (It's her birthday today, BTW, in addition to my parents' 30th wedding anniversary).

Others have said it better, and all over my f-list too, so I won't repeat too much. But I do have one question: Were any of the characters ever actually in character, in that entire movie? Magneto, maybe; some of the lesser characters I don't know so well, probably. But the rest? *blinks* I love these people, and I just could not believe the way they were acting most of the time, not to mention how utterly shallow the plot was. Whiskey tango foxtrot, my friends. I think I will live in denial after this as far as movieverse is concerned.

OTOH, I did get to see the trailer for Dead Man's Chest again. OMG, I have such an unholy lust for that movie, I may spontaneously explode the day it comes out. *drifts off into thought, drooling*

No, it's very plain.

XX is the Roman Numeral for twenty. She's saying that you're both twenty... Only I know for a fact that you're both old enough to buy liquor. (Well, okay, I know for a fact that SHE'S old enough, but if you're both the same age...)

But that's okay. My mother's been 16 ever since I've known her. :-D
