yuletide; not my first exchange, but definitely the most enduring. I love the whole atmosphere of fannish enjoyment that surrounds the challenge, and the opportunity to play in smaller or newer fandoms. And I also love waiting up to read whatever's been written for me: it adds an extra sparkle to my holiday season. So. Dear Yuletide Creator! I look forward to whatever you gift me with!
I adore action and romance and humor, but I also eat casefic and canon-divergent AUs and worldbuilding up with a spoon. I love complicated characters, and watching them interact is always a good time for me, whatever they're up to. So whatever you add to my fandom, I'm sure I'll be happy to receive. Though I will add some fandom-specific notes below to give you something to go by. :)
I do have a handful of general DNWs, which I'd prefer you avoid: incest, deliberate betrayal of trust between partners, "on-screen" non-consensual sex, permanent death of requested characters, and setting-change AUs. Any rating is fine (I definitely don't mind some porn in my plot, though I do enjoy gen as well). Angst or h/c is also A-OK, though I prefer more of the comfort than the hurt side of the scale. Especially this year. (No coronavirus plots either, please.)

Fandom 1: Battle Creek (TV)
Characters: Russ Agnew, Milt Chamberlain
I really adored Battle Creek, all the dynamics between the various characters and the quirky town they lived in (with its quirky crime and crime-solving methods), and I'd seriously be happy with any fic in the fandom. Slice of life at the station; casefic; get-together-fic; having friendly downtime together; any fic at all. Milt's first case back with Russ, what their partnership is like five years down the road in Battle Creek, or maybe Milt does get reassigned back to a bigger FBI office elsewhere and Russ suddenly realizes he can't even with that. Anything.
I've asked for tropey AU fic in this fandom before, and was thrilled with the result; so, while I don't usually go for setting change AUs, as long as you don't change who they are (chip-on-his-shoulder cop-type and suspiciously perfect agent-type) and have a fun idea that you want to try out in this fandom? GO FOR IT. Russ and Milt just seem like the perfect odd couple for that sort of thing, to me. :)

Fandom 2: Blood & Treasure (TV)
Characters: Danny McNamara, Lexi Vaziri
The plot of this show was officially summarized as "a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure." My personal appreciation of it was more like "budget knockoff Indiana Jones", but I did enjoy it quite a bit on that level. As a fan of the Indiana Jones and Brendan Fraser Mummy movies, that sort of archaeology/art adjacent action and romance is comfort-entertainment for me.
So give me more of Danny and Lexi, with or without their canon friends! More adventures and mysteries, or more from their past, or sexy downtimes, or what happens next after the show, or more serious themes about justice and history if inspiration strikes. You can pretty much write whatever you want here that doesn't hit my DNWs and I'll enjoy it! Feel free to get as trope-y with it (or not) as you like.

Fandom 3: The Mummy Series
Characters: Jonathan Carnahan
As far as I can tell, there is still only one fic on AO3 in English dealing with Jonathan in Peru when mummies are discovered, as per the epilogue of the third Mummy movie. I've written a lot of Mummy fic, and read a lot of Mummy fic, but that story remains criminally undertold. (I know, I know; because most people dislike the third movie. Still.) So tell me - what happens in Peru?
Is Jonathan involved in the discovery of the mummies? Do any of them get raised from the dead? Is anybody visiting at the time, or does he invite anyone just in case? Does he flee yet another country with some piece of treasure in hand to fund his next scheme? Or - does *nothing* happen despite all his paranoia, and he finally, finally, figures out how to settle down, with or without partner?
If Peru is a non-starter for you, any other Jonathan adventure along similar lines would be great. I would just like to enjoy him being the star of his own story for awhile. [Though feel free to include whatever other details, characters, or pairings you want in the background, including OCs; I'd just prefer him not be stuck serving any other canon character's plot.]

Fandom 4: Sharknado (Movies)
Characters: April Wexler, Finley "Fin" Shepard, Nova Clarke
These movies are ridiculous, the characters aren't deeply developed, and the plots don't pretend to make scientific sense, but I watched them all for the cameos and the jokes and the continual amazement at what would happen next and was never disappointed. On the other hand, a serious take on any of it would also be fascinating! So go wild. You can feel free to experiment with divergent AUs or crossovers with this one as well, since the sixth movie itself even went there. (Any fandom on my AO3 list is fair game).
I'm interested in these three characters in their canon Fin/April + Nova configuration, but I am also interested in the OT3 option - I'd love to see them all getting together at any point during the series, with wacky shark action as the backdrop. I mean, seriously; sharks are constantly falling from the sky in this universe, would Nova/Fin/April instead of just Fin/April have been too much to ask for? That scene near the end of Movie 5 when Fin+Nova+April are all huddled together declaring each other to be family - that really made me want to see what would happen if the three of them stuck together earlier rather than Nova running off to start the Sharknado Sisterhood alone. Or if April's original boyfriend had suvived, Fin/Nova+April could be interesting too! Fin really seemed into the idea of Nova handling weapons - it's mentioned more than once! - and she certainly had an obvious crush on him.
Feel free to include any of the other characters from the series as well, cameo or otherwise, or throw in your own cameos, or keep it tight on just the three of them; I just want to see these shark-fighting characters enjoying themselves in some fashion, whether that involves actually fighting sharks or not. :)
