Date: 2017-05-02 12:11 am (UTC)But squinting around that to the concept, if I were to write it ... it would probably be Riddick and one of the more straight-laced characters who gets sucked into his life and ends up enjoying it or excelling at it even though they know they shouldn't. My preference would be Boss Johns, then Dahl, with the whole series to choose from, but if limited to just Pitch Black I could see it in an AU with Fry or even the younger Johns too.
I would prefer it without them being at all rueful about their choices, though; acknowledging consequences, but minimal guilt and angst, by personal preference - that kind of emotional writing demotivates me, rather than inspiring me.
Can't manage any lines today though, sorry; not enough energy.

Date: 2017-05-02 01:35 am (UTC)Pitch Black just made a terrific impression on me and I grieved when character after character died. Minimal guilt and angst would be great -- the 'verse had practical vibes all over it.
