Total books and average pages dropped a little bit in 2015, working out to about 121 pages per day, though individual books varied greatly. There were a few graphic novels or poetry collections under 100 pages in there, and nothing even close to the four-digit page range this time. In other stats: 6/122 were nonfiction, which is consistent with past years; 15 were re-reads, about half the usual; and 7 were graphic novels.
I did a little more analysis this time as well, and discovered that 88/122 were part of a series or creative universe of some kind - I obviously have a tendency to find a new series, author, or world I like and then collect like a magpie. *grin* And in terms of genre, 80 of the novels fell under the SFF umbrella (scifi, epic fantasy, urban fantasy, steampunk, etc.); 18 I would categorize as mysteries or thrillers; 7 were regency romance; and 12 were other historically-set novels (O'Brian, L'Amour, et cetera). I do have definite tastes!
So here we go, embarking on Year Ten of book tracking!
Book stats through #100 include: 16 rereads; 3 non-fiction; 6 graphic novels.
