'Tis the Season

jedibuttercupPassive-aggressive family drama bullshit going on today. Seriously guys? The day after Christmas? Way to put me in the middle. *sigh* At least Christmas itself went well - took Mom to see Star Wars VII and hung out most of the day - as well as Christmas Eve, the designated all-family day this year. I may post a vent post later this evening after the fallout has settled. In the meantime, Yuletide recs!
I wrote three stories this year, one long and two short, only one of which is in a fandom I've written in before; I doubt anyone has or will find me out for them, but all of my recips have left comments, and more people than just the recips have left kudos, so yay on that front; and I received two delightful stories myself! I adore stories where the characters are highly competent on their own terms, where backstory is filled in, and which feature strong sibling relationships, and my writers delivered.
