WISHLIST 2014 SIGNUPS APPROACH

Fair warning, because I know several of you wait on pins and needles for this: this year's Wishlist signups will open sometime on Saturday, November 1, 2014 - probably whenever I wake up and get to a computer. Start planning now! There will only be 24 slots.

RL awfulness has left me a bit behind on last year's (RIP, Dad; he was always bemusedly tolerant of my fanfic career, even though Mom thinks it's a waste of my time); I have eight requests left to go. But the 2013 list will all be done before 2014 posting opens in December, whatever I have to do to get it done.

*rubbing hands together* Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to ask for, for Yuletide ....

I'm even contemplating signing up myself for the 6 prompts challenge. Baby steps.

Edit: Screw it I signed up for 6 prompts. You are a far braver soul than I with 24.

This could be interesting, as I am booked that Saturday afternoon for the traditional family outing to the scenic wilds of Verboort in the service of eating what may be the world's best old-fashioned sausage-and-sauerkraut dinner. And while I suspect that the village school probably actually does have wifi these days, I rather doubt they'll be offering access to the thousands of hungry visitors descending on them with forks in hand.

Clearly, much will depend on how crowded my Saturday morning turns out to be, and that I don't know yet....

It partly depends on when the mod declares 'go', but if possible, I'll throw the post open around 9:00 or so that day; that's generally when I 'get up' on a Saturday to make coffee and grab breakfast, before going back to bed to read for a few hours. :)

You can do it! I always debate on Wishlist, but then I realize I'm probably going to write half a dozen treats or more for Yuletide like I did last year LOL

Some years I write half a dozen treats; some years I write just a couple; depends on my energy level, and how many evenings I can steal away from other commitments. Good luck with your treats. :)

Yeah it just depends oh how much time and mental energy I have left. I started a brand new job in a new industry today, so it's possible I will be treating less than last year lol
