Yes, I took the obvious opportunity to squeeze in another Grand Canyon picture, here. I could stare at that section of my photo album for hours. :)

The first pic I took of the Grand Canyon, when we arrived on the south rim mid-afternoon. (October, 2012)


My super adorable niece, at just over seven months old. Always opinionated, that one. :) (August, 2013)

Said it before and I'll say it again, your niece and nephew are adorable! And let's hear it for opinionated women of all ages. :)

Wow, you got there at the perfect time for a great shot! If the rest of your shots of that area are comparable, you'll have a huge art wall! I hate to admit that I've not managed to visit the Grand Canyon, but I definitely hope to some day.

Wow, that looks like some apartment! Don't think I could enjoy living in the middle of a city, even Seattle. Portland is a maybe, if I didn't live in the middle of the high rises. Not that I ever have to worry about that...

I don't think I could enjoy living in the middle of a big city either. But they're sure fun to visit on occasion!

It was kind of a whim to tack on the Grand Canyon that trip, but well worth it for sure. This year I'm scheduling in the scenic loop road through Badlands National Park; I'm hoping for a lot more colored-rock-expanse pictures there. :)

Ooooh... Have only see the Badlands from the window of a transcontinental flight, but it was amazing nonetheless. I hope you get to take lots of pictures!
