30 Day Photo Meme: Day 05

All of Day 5 are family related. I know, I know; I could have gone through my local ComicCon photos, or some of the awesome locations I've been, to find smile-worthy shots. But I'm a sap at heart.

Day 05 - a photo that makes you smile


Taken June 2008, when my not-yet-sister-in-law decided to visit my brother at his Air Force base across the country, and invited me along as chaperone so her parents would let her go. I love the crinkles at the corners of his eyes, the way she's resting her chin on his shoulder, and the general air of being a sunshine and smiles kind of day.


Shot in my mom's back yard in September 2013: nephew, conquering the bubble machine. The look on his face!


Captured just last month: niece, swallowed up by the squashy chair on my mom's back patio, laughing.

Dude, it's your journal, be as sappy as you darn well please! As for these photos, they really did make me smile, all three of them. Your brother and SIL are one of the cutest couples ever and I hope they only continue to get closer and more content with every year. Your nephew is beyond adorable in these, and I don't even like kids. Thank you for sharing. :)

My brother's whole family is ridiculously photogenic. Fortunately, they've gotten used to me randomly pointing my phone at them and tapping and don't pay much attention these days; I get some great casual shots that way. :)
