30 Day Photo Meme: Day 02

Forgot to mention - all of the photos in this meme are supposed to be photos you've taken yourself. And there only has to be one per post, I'm just posting three each because I'm camera-happy!

Day 02 - a photo with flowers in it


Shot April 28, 2013, at a local tulip farm, when Nephew was 20 months; they're nearly as tall as he is!


Taken February 4, 2014, I think you can guess where and why. 106 days now Dad's been gone.


Captured yesterday, in my Mom's driveway. She has the greenest thumb of anyone I know.

Is that wisteria dripping down in the last photo? I can only imagine the glorious fragrance wafting around your Mom's garden in this weather. :)

The photo of your nephew would make a beautiful painting. My Mom painted one of a little girl smelling daffodils that is a bit similar to this photo, which reminded me of it.

This is no consolation, but it looks like your Dad's grave is in a beautiful location. *hugs*

Yep; my dad's wisteria, specifically. He and a friend planted theirs at the same time a few years ago, and the friend's (just down the street from us) withered away; but dad's has gone bananas this year. You can't see the rest of it in the shot, but there's a post up with a birdhouse on the top, and the wisteria's swarmed all the way up and bushed out like crazy on the top crosspiece.

My niece and nephew are ridiculously photogenic; one of these days I'll have a few printed up large to hang on the wall. I'll have a couple more of them up for the "make you smile" day this weekend. :)
