"The Legacy book series that's supposed to continue where the finale left off has them flying the city home the long way and crash-landing on a minimally hospitable world on the fringes of Pegasus, IIRC. But... I could easily have them repair that wormhole drive that conveniently appeared in the finale and oops! Something goes wrong and they crash on a different minimally hospitable world. Say, Dagobah."

Eeps, you picked it and I am very much looking forward to a PT story with this crossover! Also, am extensively interested in #13. It helps that the two men are attractive, but that's not everything.

The two Kirk's meeting? I guess it really depends which era of Prime!Kirk I draw in. I was raised on TOS-era, and still find young!Shatner pretty droolworthy, but by the late movie era .... not so much. Except that Generations is really the perfect excuse to draw him over the line! I guess I could resort to the cliche Mirror Mirror transporter malfunction route. We'll see, I suppose. *grin*

I am greatly looking forward to all of these! Thank you especially for taking up my challenge, I thought you had already read "Trio for Lute". I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and I think you'll wind up really liking Raphael.

Well, it's you. I figure there's no way I won't like it, and you wanted more of Buffy and Raphael, which I was really sneakily fond of. So. Win/win!

MacAvoy was a fascinating writer (she did several other books after this, but has since kind of dropped off the map). My very favorite of hers was Tea With The Black Dragon (which you should totally track down, too), but nearly anything of hers is well worth looking up.

I keep on hearing about Tea With The Black Dragon, but I can never find a copy!

I was about to say that it really isn't that scarce (Powell's has several inexpensive used copies), but that was before the "Australia" lightbulb went off....

A bit of further prowling about online finds that there may be a few copies in Australia (per Abebooks.com) and that it seems to be available in both ebook and print-on-demand form from ereads.com (although I'm not clear on whether their PoD service would print the book in Oz, thereby avoiding absurd shipping charges) -- at which point getting Powell's to ship a used copy to Oz might actually be cheaper....

And all of which may be way more than you actually wanted to know, but there it is for what it's worth. (Stop me before I Google again!)

Have to say that I second graycardinal's rec of "Tea With The Black Dragon". This book was one of the early instances of 'Urban Fatasy', blending our own reality with fantasy concepts, and it is absolutely wonderful!

Also, the idea that brought me here was a prompt that popped into my brain that I'm going to have to hold onto until either next year or whenever you ask for general prompts again. Unless, of course, you decide to write for a charity auction, in which case I'm going to have to figure out which bills I can juggle to make a winning bid...
