What is the Wishlist?
The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It started very small and simple three years ago: the premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will. Since then it's grown and changed a bit.
The community and the rules in detail can be found here.
I have signed up to be a writer. If you want to give me a prompt, please leave a comment on this entry; and if you want to see what I wrote for it last year to get an idea of what you can ask, here's my 2010 master list.
And that's it! Prompt away: the 24 Days of Ficcish Christmas are only six weeks away!
(In the meantime, I'll be clearing the rest of the rewards and auction fic I owe; I haven't forgotten.)

Rules
- I accept the first twenty-four prompts I am given, regardless of who you are or if I know you.
(ALL SPOTS FULL! If you missed it, I'm sure I'll be playing again next year. *grin*) - You give me characters/pairing, a fandom and a prompt.
- If I'm not offering the fandom you're requesting, it doesn't count. (Unless you can talk me into it.)
The current offerings list is: Buffy/Angel-verse; Stargate SG-1/Atlantis; Firefly/Serenity; Eureka; Star Trek XI; Fast and the Furious series; Leverage; The Mummy/Mummy Returns series; The Dresden Files; The Sorcerer's Apprentice; Falling Skies; and, live-action Transformers. - Your prompts can be for a crossover or not. Either is fine. It can be a quote, an idea, a specific situation, but the more you give me, the more I have to work with. Throwing Character X/Character Y, whatever at me is going to get you whatever.
- If you don't have an LJ account, you can give your DW/IJ/TtH/AO3/whatever name in an anonymous comment, but do make sure to sign it. If you do not sign with a name I will not use your prompt.
- I answer the prompts in the order I like best and post them, one a day, starting 1st, Dec 2011.
And that's it! Prompt away: the 24 Days of Ficcish Christmas are only six weeks away!
(In the meantime, I'll be clearing the rest of the rewards and auction fic I owe; I haven't forgotten.)

Date: 2011-10-16 04:54 am (UTC)I don't know if you're familiar with ST:TOS, so you might find this one too difficult. So I'll offer another option:
Option 2: continuation of your "Diverted Destiny" 'verse; Star Wars/BTVS; Luke, Buffy; Luke PoV "I sense much darkness here."

Date: 2012-09-17 08:20 pm (UTC)...Do you have any more specific ideas regarding what era of TOS Kirk to bring to the meeting, or any specific ideas regarding the when and where of the encounter? There is so much TOS canon out there, I'm just not getting that ignition spark when I think about writing the story.

Date: 2012-09-17 08:45 pm (UTC)If you want a more specific scenario... set it after some specific incident in canon, where both Kirks have just explored the same planet in their respective universes. Preferably an emotionally disturbing incident. And the two Kirks had reacted differently.
I'm sorry, I can't think of a specific canon episode for this, it's too long since I've watched TOS canon.
