The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It started very small and simple three years ago: the premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will. Since then it's grown and changed a bit.

I have signed up to be a writer. If you want to give me a prompt, please leave a comment on this entry; and if you want to see what I wrote for it last year to get an idea of what you can ask, here's my 2010 master list.

Rules
- I accept the first twenty-four prompts I am given, regardless of who you are or if I know you.
(ALL SPOTS FULL! If you missed it, I'm sure I'll be playing again next year. *grin*) - You give me characters/pairing, a fandom and a prompt.
- If I'm not offering the fandom you're requesting, it doesn't count. (Unless you can talk me into it.)
The current offerings list is: Buffy/Angel-verse; Stargate SG-1/Atlantis; Firefly/Serenity; Eureka; Star Trek XI; Fast and the Furious series; Leverage; The Mummy/Mummy Returns series; The Dresden Files; The Sorcerer's Apprentice; Falling Skies; and, live-action Transformers. - Your prompts can be for a crossover or not. Either is fine. It can be a quote, an idea, a specific situation, but the more you give me, the more I have to work with. Throwing Character X/Character Y, whatever at me is going to get you whatever.
- If you don't have an LJ account, you can give your DW/IJ/TtH/AO3/whatever name in an anonymous comment, but do make sure to sign it. If you do not sign with a name I will not use your prompt.
- I answer the prompts in the order I like best and post them, one a day, starting 1st, Dec 2011.

"The "Legacy" book series that's supposed to continue where the finale left off has them flying the city home the long way and crash-landing on a minimally hospitable world on the fringes of Pegasus, IIRC. But... I could easily have them repair that "wormhole drive" that conveniently appeared in the finale and oops! Something goes wrong and they crash on a different minimally hospitable world. Say, Dagobah. *snickering* I'd have to pick a good entry point timeline wise, but that could throw quite the rock in the Star Wars verse pond, since half the city would have sudden out of control Force powers, and the city herself would sing like crazy to all the Jedi (or Sith) already out there.
*blinkblink* Um. Remind me of this next time I run a prompt list, would you? I don't have time to get into this right now with the Buffyverse crossathon going on, but my fingers are starting to itch..."

Date: 2011-10-16 04:25 am (UTC)When I saw you were doing Wishlist again and that you watched White Collar I knew I had to put in for a BTVS/White Collar prompt. There are barley any crossovers between these two shows, and absolutely no Neal/Buffy fic....nada........zilch...........bukiss! I mean come on, Buffy's Mom was an art major who owned her own gallery. Joyce was just the type of Mom to drag Buffy to museums and galleries has part of their mother daughter time in her preteen years. Buffy knows art, I'm sure it was one of the things she and Angel had in common (yet another art influence in her life). You could be the one to introduce that concept into fanon that ever starving mass. Beyond that, you would be providing fic to a sorely underdeveloped niche. Think of it has a public service. Plus the sheer pretty of Neal/Buffy would probably cause world peace :)
Fandom: White Collar/BTVS
Pairing: Neal/Buffy
Setting: Post Season 7 for BTVS, after Chosen, anytime for White Collar
Prompt: Neal never thought he could truly love anyone other then Kate, after being run over by Buffy Summers (literally), he's about to change his mind.
If your still not interested in doing the prompt then I would love a continuation of your Brian/Mia/Hobbs fic "Made That Way".

Fandom: TMNT/(BtVS)/Trilogy for Lute by RA MacAvoy
Characters: Raphael (or Raphael and Buffy) meet/have a run in with the Archangel Raphael.
Prompt: Since Raphael is the Archangel of music and healing and is also associated with the East Wind, air elementals and sunrise, I'll just make his portfolio the prompt and let your incredible mind run with this in whatever direction it wants to take.
If this is too much, I'll gladly take the rain check until you care to tackle it and I'll volunteer to make a donation to your favorite charity when it's posted (even if it's only the usual teasing and tantalizing first chapter), even if I have to raid my stash set aside for buying a new digital camera to do so.
Alternate: A continuation of your "Through the Blue Vault of Varda" and "Seek, And Ye Shall Find" stories. I truly want to find out what Dawn is going to make of Atlantis and what John is going to make of Dawn and Buffy (I also want to find out what they make of Elves and the Valar, but I gather that's a ways down the road).
