1. A crossover that's very different and unexpected yet, as soon as you've done it, fascinating and completely logical.

The ability to step back from multiple 'verses, see the similarities in characters, and weave a fascinating plot as you zoom in on a plausible way to meld them in a fantastic set of circumstances.

Careful characterization, total believability even with really bizarre crossovers, and material for a really awesome fic that sadly will never happen.

My output would drop a lot if I tried to stretch each story out to 'finish' every idea I raise, unfortunately. AD/HD, etc. But at least they entertain!
