I promised 7,000 words on this for multific; I don't know about that, but I hope to get at least one more chapter done before the Saturday deadline. =)

The new chapter gave me an excuse to go back and read the whole thing again from the beginning. I'm impressed with how you have kept a constant tone and feel to this story even though there have been long stretches of time between chapters. Thank you for the fine work!

Thank you! *grin* I adore all of these characters; my biggest worry has been keeping them in voice as the plot progresses. Hopefully, I'll have at least one more chapter up this week.
