In previous years, I've totalled up my fic production by "Finished Words" and "WIP words", and ignored some items entirely, like "five things" entries.

I'm going to do away with those distinctions this year, considering the fact that I have several WIPs going, and the line between "flashfic series" and "novel chapters" gets pretty blurry with some of them (Uncle John, for example).

So just how much did I write in 2007? 141,018 words.

24,300 of that was non-crossover; 67,400 of that was non-Buffyverse in any way.

For comparison purposes, here are the previous years' totals:
2006 - 163,612 (26,136 non-cross; 43,836 non-Buffyverse)
2005 - 47,878 (All crossovers; 2,500 non-Buffyverse)

2002, 2003, and 2004 are harder to differentiate, as I didn't keep records of chapters and fics by month until late 2004, so I'm not sure just where everything fell. But between them, it comes to about 196,000 words, or an average of 65,000 words a year, most of it Buffy/Angel non-crossovers.

I'm not sure why I wrote less in 2005; depression, probably? And the last couple of years-- heh. My social life hasn't changed much, and I definitely read as many books this year as ever before, so-- I suppose I'll blame my verbosity on the lot of you, my loyal readers and requesters. *grin*
