OK. I know I still have a couple of reward requests out there; they will probably be completed in November, after I've finished the 10,000 word finishathon request for "Back Again, Harry?" In the meanwhile, though, I need distracting. Badly. And so:

The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble from you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for.

Comment on this post, and I'll comment back with the link to the drabble as soon as I get it done. Just give me a fandom (or two fandoms, if you want a crossover), a name or pairing, and a one or two word prompt. Use your imaginations!

Fandoms I'm willing to write (or cross) for this challenge include: B:tVS, A:tS, Firefly/Serenity, Dresden Files, 5th Element, Tolkein, Austen, SG-1, Atlantis, CSI, Pitch Black/TCoR, Boondock Saints, Dracula 2000, Doom, Equilibrium, Jurassic Park, Constantine, ID4, Trek (TOS or TNG), HP, The Mummy. Other fandoms considered on a case-by-case basis; if you think I'll bite, ask.

Round One: April 21, 2006

1. CSI/Pitch Black, no prompt:
Blood Spatter, 500 words.

2. Boondock Saints, McManus boys, thirsty/hungry:
Ties of Blood, 700 words.

3. B:tVS, Buffy/Wesley, fluffy:
Something New, 600 words.

4. SG-1, Jack/Daniel, high, laughter:
What Has to Be Done, 1400 words.

5. Harry Potter, Harry, free:
Making Choices, 1000 words.

6. B:tVS/ST:TNG, Faith, double entendre:
Linguistic Exchanges, 400 words.

7. Firefly/Jurassic Park, Wash, sushi:
By Any Other Name, 600 words.

8. B:tVS/Classic Trek, Buffy/Kirk, transporter malfuction:
Transporter Malfunction, 400 words.

Round Two: January 21, 2007

1. Austen/SG-1, Daniel Jackson, champagne:
Lively Personalities, 900 words.

2. Austen/HP, Mary Bennet/Percy Weasley, time-travel mishap:
A Wizard for Mary, 600 words.

3. CSI/B:tVS, Grissom, paradox:
The Evidence Never Lies, 800 words.

4. Jurassic Park, Ellie, ice:
Yesterday is History, Today is a Gift, 400 words.

5. SG-1/Atlantis, Sam/Jack & Sheppard/Weir, psychic:
Meeting of Minds, 1000 words.

6. B:tVS/CSI, Buffy/Greg, ham:
Inconvenient Anomalies in the Data, 800 words.

7. ST:TNG/Mummy, Data + Rick/Evie, reincarnation:
The Return of the Medjai, 1500 words.

8. SG-1/CSI, Jack & Catherine, not-so-chance meeting:
Collateral Damage, 900 words.

9. SG-1, Jonas, warm:
Nothing New Under the Sun, 300 words.

10. Atlantis/Firefly, Carson, "not to be believed":
In Search of a Better World, 600 words.

So? Hit me. You may get 300 words, you may get 1,000, and it may take months, but I solemnly swear to complete them, no matter what you ask for. So be creative.

*braces for impact*

ETA: That's 10! Thanks guys! (Whew, some of these are going to be fun...)

TNG.

And the icon is the prompt.

I love it! :)

I could go either way on smut content; what's more important to me is the characterization and dialog, which you handled superbly, as usual. :)

And I so, so, love that ST:ENT was a big old joke by Q. hee!!!

Hmm. Harry Dresden, please, with SG-1 or Atlantis by preference; prompt, gravity.

Re: Question: which Dresden?

Actually, I love 'em both. So I have no preference. I was thinking of TV Dresden, maybe meeting Sam, but whichever works for you.

kerravonsen: Gandalf and the Ninth Doctor, with lightning: Storm Crows. (StormCrows)

This is very cracky, and I can't for the life of me see how it could ever work, but I can't get it out of my head:

CSI/Tolkien; Gil Grissom, Faramir; faithful, bright

Either that or the even more cracky "CSI/Pern; Gil Grissom and a Pernese Fire Lizard (a live one)".

From: [identity profile] izhilzha.livejournal.com
The Pern one is brilliant; I can see it perfectly in my head right now.

kerravonsen: cover of "The Blue Sword": Fantasy (Fantasy)
From: [personal profile] kerravonsen
Yeah, so can I, and I do like the idea muchly (aw, Grissom with a Fire Lizard, awwwww).
But Pern wasn't on the list, even though it's in [livejournal.com profile] jedibuttercup's interests.

You could do both . . . (lure lure tempt tempt)

After all, you're still under the prompt limit . . . >;D

kerravonsen: Cyrano Jones offering a Tribble: "It's only one Plot Tribble" (Plot Tribbles only one)

I know you will do either one justice. (hugs Faramir) (hugs Grissom) (hugs Firelizard). Hey, you could combine them! (brain fried, core dump)

You know what I'm going to ask for!

ST:TNG/The Mummy; sequel to The Return of the Medjai (http://jedibuttercup.livejournal.com/190621.html); why is Ardeth needed?

because I swear they're really the same person...

*grins* I certainly look forward to seeing what you do with it! If history is anything to go by, I'm sure it'll rock, as I love it when you cross Tolkien and Joss. (Feel free to interpret that last bit as a "cough, cough, hint, hint, prod, prod" regarding a certain series you haven't posted on in about 11 months, if you are inclined to be so prodded.)

I may write Daniel/ Vala but I like reading it too.=) But if you'd rather you can write one of three prompts for me:
1. Continue the Daniel- Pride and Predjudice
2. Contiune the fic where Buffy ran into Daniel in England when he was researching Merlin
or
3. Sam/Teal'c - how their relationship developed into a romance durring Unending
