Regarding the wank-- the crisis has apparently passed. Apology tendered, policy updated, air cleared, and I even let them have the last word. As long as I don't enter any popularity contests in that fandom anytime soon, and they don't "forget" any of my links again, I think the situation is as amicably settled as it possibly could have been, and in fact better than I expected. And on that note, I'm f-locking the previous posts on the issue to reduce the public profile of this little kerfuffle.

Thank you to everyone who posted supportive comments. I ♥ my f-list very much indeed. I was reminded by one of you that even if every newsletter mysteriously started ignoring me, I still have all of you. And that's more than enough. =)

I had missed all the drama, but went back and reread it...o_O

I love your writing, even though I am a bad fan and almost never comment, and am happy to see you show up in any fandom I know anything about. In fact, I had never read Jane Austen (for whatever reason) but after reading one of your cross-overs I got audio books to listen to during my 3 hours on the road every day.

Which one(s) have you listened to? How did you like it? One of my aunts gave me Pride & Prejudice when I was 7, but it took me until high school and college to track down the others and read them, too. P&P holds favorite place in my heart for nostalgia reasons, but I think Persuasion is actually the one I *like* most.

I've listened to Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. I like them all, but I think maybe Mansfield Park is my favorite so far. I'll have to look for Persuasion. I was downloading them from librivox.org and that was all they had at the time. I'm trying to catch up on classics I've missed and listen to some old favorites.
