Jan. 4th, 2014 02:57 pmHere we go: View Tracking Year Seven! See 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 for past lists.
If I round all TV episodes (whether live or DVD) up to the nearest half-hour mark and all movies to two hours total, then add in repeat viewings, in 2013 I watched 842.5 total hours of on-screen entertainment, an average of 2.31 hours/day.
By comparison, I watched 920 hours in 2012 (2.52 hrs/day), 785 hours in 2011 (2.15 hrs/day), 777 in 2010, 677 in 2009, and 653 in 2008. Finding a happy medium, perhaps? Or the effects of that three-week trip away? Who knows. At least a third of them were spent sweating away on the exercise machine, regardless.
