The last book you bought:
The Lunatic Cafe, Bloody Bones, and The Killing Dance by Laurell K. Hamilton -- books #4-6 of the Anita Blake series. The last book you read:
Sister of the Dead by Barb and J.C. Hendee -- 3rd book in the Noble Dead series. (If you think you're sensing a theme here, you probably are. Blame it on Buffyverse withdrawal).Five books that mean a lot to you:
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. LewisTag five other people ...
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Alongside Night by J. Neil Schulman
Touch Not the Cat by Mary Stewart
After the Sun Sets, a 1938 compilation of old-style fairy-tales and illustrations
These books have two things in common: (1) I was not yet a teenager when I read them for the first time; and (2) They made enough of an impression that I had to buy them for my own shelves when I left home. If you want more recent favorites, or complete details on why they made the impression they did, the list would be miles long. *grin*
More than half my f-list seems to have done this already, and I'm not sure which of you that is. So I'll just say, if you haven't done it, I'd appreciate seeing your list.
