Imrahil at last sheathed his blade, flexing exhausted fingers against the engravings upon its hilt, and gazed upon a familiar face with a heart weary and yet still glad. A light of wry recognition was in Thorongil's eye, but no apology, and the passing years lay lightly upon him.
