Warnings/Notes: A mid-Season 3 fix-it/divergence story, breaking away at the end of 3.8, "Novus Ordo Seclorum". In which Ichabod reacts just a little bit faster, and everything changes. Titled for the U2 song.
Summary: There they were, literally the only two people in the world. Abbie didn't know whether to view that as an opportunity to breach the distance, or a torturous exercise in being constantly within arm's reach of what she desperately wanted and couldn't have. 18,200 words.
