30 Day Photo Meme: Day 07

For this one, I pulled a picture taken in the sky; a picture taken looking up at the sky; and one showcasing the sky. Sort of, anyway. Memorable moments, all three.

Day 07 - a photo of the sky


In the sky: I took this one from the skyscraping scenic drive in Great Basin National Park, at the observation lookout at the 10,000 foot level, looking out at the summit of Mt. Wheeler. (October 25, 2013)


Looking up: My parents' goddaughter wanted to hold one of her culture's traditional memorial services for my dad; she's Filipina. It was a little longer than 40 days out, but as close as we could make it; as part of the gathering, we released one balloon into the sky for every year of my dad's life. (March 23, 2014)


And lastly: clouds over the Seattle waterfront, captured during a visit to maevebran's cousins. (April 6, 2014)
