Thanks. :) The original story struck me hard enough that I really wanted to preserve the atmosphere and feeling - but having it be in another POV than Nate's meant adding enough detail for it to affect Eliot that particular way as well. I'm glad the result worked for you!

(I was really nervous about participating in a remix, since the only other time I've done so was for a specifically drabble-length remix event, but this has been fun.)
