Thank you! I do have a lot of fondness for Giles in the early years of the show, and I did eventually forgive him the events of the Cruciamentum given a bunch of mitigating factors at the time; but there was no excuse for his characterization in seasons 6 & 7.

Happy Buffy, post-Chosen, is kind of one of my side hobbies, as you may have noticed. *grin* Even the post-apoc crossover I wrote featured a Buffy as happy as possible for her environment. So I may indeed start a Buffy-and-Dawn-in-Vegas sequel eventually. But the "finding out she has a Dad and meeting him for the first time" arc felt pretty complete here, to me.
