[grin] It is a bizarre idea for a crossover; but when I got the "reincarnation" prompt for Buffy and Daniel, the LOTR connection just stuck in my head. I was really pleased when it finally fell together plausibly. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, they're not quite their past selves; Daniel has more experience recovering buried memory and I think is better primed to accept the connection than Buffy would be, but he'd fascinate her, too. I'm not sure what exactly would happen next!
