New TV series are like new wines; it takes a few sips before the 'flavor' settles. I-- kind of like it; the mystery with Beta has snagged me, and the interlocking present/past story of the characters is building interesting relationships. I especially like Maddux. But I reserve the right to stop watching if either the science or the drama level gets too ridiculous.
