Thank you for posting this fic. In addition to being well written, it was a fun stroll through Trek's past and an insightful look inot Spock's reactions.

One of the things that rocked my world about ST:XI was the deep seeded *warmth* Nimoy imbued into his portrayal of Spock. We didn't see it much in ST:V or ST:VI (Kirk and company verged on buffoons in both of those movie IMO) or even in his Next Generation appearances ::barf::. This Spock, Spock Prime, *cares*. He is part of the reason this AU came into being so it is utterly logical that he would take measures to ensure that certain events that can be avoided would be or the inevitable damage mitigated.

I would love to read a fic where Spock Prime is part of a team that comes aboard the Enterprise for a mission so that he can secretly micro-manage the unfolding events.
