I've loved Trek for twenty-five years; I think I was channeling Nimoy's version as much as Quinto's when I was writing this. They sound a bit different, and are motivated a little differently, but the language use is a lot alike.

Hee, yes. I was really struck by how smoothly they seemed to work together in the Narada scenes, so quickly after the bridge meltdown; and if there were any questions after that, Spock was the one going "are you sure?", not Kirk. So. *smishes them*
