I can't recall if I commented on this one. Brilliant, of course. I love your Pike in so many ways. While he is not on screen for long, you capture and expand his forthrightness and thoughtfulness. He is the character that did a dissertation on George Kirk and a captain in his own right. His thoughts are true and clear -- and as expected in your writing -- enjoyable to read!
