It's everybody's interpretation to their own, until the next movie comes out and (hopefully) shows one way or another. =)

When I started out on these, I was hoping to walk the line between bitter!Pike (because boy howdy, does he have a lot to be bitter about) and mentor!Pike, while not forgetting his TOS details, and I'm pleased that's coming across well.

I'll definitely do more of these, though they are taking a little more effort and thought that the fun drabble-fic I'm spacing between them!
