Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
FYI, these are in reverse update order, not "most favourite" order:

watching_river, aka "Book's Legacy" (PG-15, WIP; Firefly/B:tVS).
This choice might surprise some of you, since until this weekend I'd gone nearly two years without updating it, but immersing myself in this particular Firefly AU always feels like spending time with an old friend. And the reviews I get for it, while not quite the quantity I see with other fics, are always awesome. I've spent a lot of time researching language and dialect and characterization and working out how the Watcher's Council could have evolved over all that time and distance; this fic is very much a labor of love.- Love, After (R, 2700 words; B:tVS/Mummy 3; Buffy/Rick)
Something about this couple just grabbed at me and wouldn't leave my mind until I'd put them on paper. They just... fit, in a non-fluffy, non-angsty, complementary way that makes me wish it was a more popular pairing. Everytime I reread the fic, it makes me smile. - Moving On (PG-13, 1500 words; A:tS post-NFA, Wes & Illyria)
In my notes for this fic, I said, "I have no explanation for this, it just is," and that's still true. It's a collection of five 300-word ficlets written from Illyria's POV detailing how she deals with the first five anniversaries of Wesley's death. Vivid and complex and grieving and triumphant all at the same time; writing it was an emotionally wrenching experience. - More Than a Weapon (PG-13, 750 words; 5th Element/LotR; Leeloo/Korben)
Possibly the most bizarre pairing of fandoms I've ever crossed; and done in first-person POV, another first for me. It was presented to me as a challenge, but by the time I was done wrestling with it I was ridiculously fond of the concept, and immediately wrote a companion fic from Eowyn's POV. - Strangely Comfortable (PG-13, 2500 words; Firefly/Boondock Saints)
Casting the McManus twins as classmates of River's was a simple stray thought that took on a life of its own. One of my reviewers called this fic "Dark, and yet comfortable", and I like that description; it's a subcategory of fiction I'm rather fond of writing, almost as fond as I am of making strange fandom matchups suddenly make absolute sense.
