Fic Rec: What a Father Is (the DNA Remix)

OK. So. Despite completely missing the remix_redux myself, I got one written for me!

What a Father Is (the DNA Remix). "I realize you’ve a dearth of male role models in your life, but a father is more than just an older man who happens to be around or who just happened to supply half your DNA." What the monks didn't say about Dawn.

It's a more serious, and much longer, tag to my light-hearted storylet, Her Father's Daughter, a B:tVS post-series quad-drabble about Dawn's origins. I quote here from my review of the remix: "...this is what I always knew should happen after my little quickfic, but couldn't ever manage to write myself...."

Seriously. Good stuff. Have a look-see, please; I'm the only reviewer so far, and the writer deserves more kudos. (Though isn't being especially stealthy, despite anonymity. *grin*)
