No kidding. Sometimes there's just no forcing it, or you end up with drek. I've got a lot of "next chapter" stuff for various stories rotting on my hard drive right now, because it all sounds terrible. But it's also a major source of inspiration, because when the right mood hits, aha! It can be turned into gold. (At least, I hope my readers think so. *grin*)
