Date: 2009-11-18 11:59 pm (UTC)Although I admit that I suspect Ael would eat Reboot!Kirk for lunch. *g* And even your creative backstory, here, doesn't give him enough substance to go toe-to-toe with a woman who's been commanding Romulan Warbirds since (probably) before he was born.
As for the Treknovelfest, I have to admit that I wrote a story about Ael's niece for it. Which was very fun, as I have always wondered what became of her.
