I really enjoyed this read. I grew up on Star Trek and am a big fan of the shows and movies although I never got into the books. This was very well done and I liked how you tied in some of the past of Kirk of the show with the one from the newest movie. Not easy to do I'm sure but you did an excellent job at it.
