Ooh, I like. Both Mal and Jayne felt in character and the situation was believable.
My only comment is that the exposition at the beginning felt out of place. However, if you're planning on turning these shorts into a something with a over reaching plot, then I get why you'd want/need it there.
All in all, quite an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this quite a lot, too. The voices are seamless, and read all together it feels like an actual episode or movie. It's so easy to visualize Mal and Jayne talking, as you have them written.

One more to go! *smile*

Loved this one! That was Mal and Jayne all the way, totally in charcater, both with the voices and the actoins/naration. Just perfect. *g*

Very nicely done! Just a heads up - if you start getting odd reviews on these after all this time - it might be my fault. I plan to rec this someday soon on my LJ. :D

Man, I love Mandarin swearing. Also I love spamming your inbox with comments on every chapter of this story as I read it.

Dialogue here's great. Speculation as to Jayne's intent and more affirmation of how in tune Mal is with it = also great. This is the best post-Serenity fic I've read; it's awesome.

Btw, I got here through [livejournal.com profile] joss_100 and most people seem to be doing introspective looks at their topics in each ficlet, but you're doing a plotted thang, which surprised me at first but which is pretty darn cool, I'm thinkin' now.

Kudos! Thanks for a nice read.
