I really should be sleeping...

Since I checked myself against the grand list of 1,001 Books to Read Before You Die a few weeks ago, I decided to go back and do the 1,001 Movies, too.

I fared slightly better, here; 78/1001 movies, whereas I only scored 64/1001 books. And I have a feeling that in this case, some of my f-list could far surpass me; I've missed a lot of the more recent-ish ones, simply because the subject matter didn't appeal.

So here are the 78 movies I have seen:

56. Frankenstein (1931)
88. Captain Blood (1935)

I apparently watch too many movies. I saw over 100 on the list for sure and was unable to recall on about 10 more. Apparently they didn't have the impact on me, huh?

Thanks for sharing the list.

I got 141. But then, my favorite channel is Turner Classic Movies, so I've seen a good share of the really old ones. I've seen very few of the ones from the sixties and seventies; the world in general and Hollywood in particular was too weird and depressing for me to pay attention to it for pleasure.
