These are wonderful. Seriously. I just blitzed through all your gapfillers and then went back and reread them all to savor them. Your fanfic doesn't read like fanfic at all. These are the scenes JJA cut for time and pacing :)

I'm cursed with a really good ear for dialogue and consistant charactor and/or author voice in narative, which really limits the fanfic choices for me. You really nailed it. Thank you for filling in the gaps! More, please? When you have the time.

Thank you! That's such a high compliment; character voices and world-realism are two things I strive very hard for when I write. I always read my fic aloud to myself for dialogue flow, but then I bite my nails afterward anyway until the reviews start coming in. =)

There'll be many more words where these came from, Muse willing. I have a few more short bits in mind, and then a larger one planned for the Star Trek Big Bang challenge.

I just read through the entire list and I'm awestruck by your ability to capture the characters. I particularly enjoyed the Kirk/Pike and Kirk/Winona Kirk interaction. Watching Jim grow up in the spaces left by the movie. Finding these stories is a real treat. Thanks.

I've been a Star Trek fan for as long as I can remember; having new-yet-old canon to play with has been a joyous experience for me. I'm involved in another challenge at the moment, but I hope to write more of this series soon, too.
