I've seen that writer's meme going around several people's journals, you know the one:

Name three fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return (and if inspired), I will attempt to write a snippet of one of them.

There's just one problem here-- for me, there pretty much is no never, as long as I have at least a nodding acquaintance with the fandom(s); you guys should know that by now after the drabble memes. I do have firm no-lines regarding incest and NC-17 sex, but aside from that, I'm even willing to write pairings I hate with a nuclear intensity if someone asks nicely-- just ask maevebran.

So go ahead. Try to surprise me with your suggestions (outside of the boundaries I just mentioned). If you can come up with anything that genuinely does break my brain, I'll see what I can do. *grin*

*Sneaks in and takes deep breath*

Evil, Wickedverse, Vamp Willow (BtVS) stumbles across her version of Daniel Jackson (SG1)and turns him. Together, they find a way of getting to our universe and eventually end up at Atlantis(SGA), wreaking havoc and annoying a lot of Scoobies along the way.

Rodney becomes very, very annoyed (insert reason here) 'Our'Daniel gets very embarrasssed by the goings on of 'Evil' Daniel, and the Scoobies arrive, on Evil Willow's tail

....oh, and the Doctor (DW) does a flyby to check out the interdimensional disturbance, and Dawn developes a crush on him, much to his annoyance.

Can be resolved anyway you like, except Teyla has to come up with the plan!

I'm not into the NC-17 or slash or major whump. Using those limitations, how about:

1. Jack O'Neill becomes President of the United States. Come up with a devastating scenario. Let him go darkside. Then find the logical progression to a conclusion which involves no magical beings and NO S/J ship but does involve Jack having a romance with Mary Tyler Moore's character Mary Richards.

2. Write McKay getting fired and having to find a job. He's so washed up he's scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for a job. What could he put on a resume that wouldn't be classified? Write us a resume and cover letter that cannot violate security protocols yet entice a job interview for Bosley's position with Charlie of Charlie's Angels.

3. Write Jack O'Neill hen pecked in a new marriage to Hot Lips Houlihan from MASH.

I actually can't come up with something you won't write, so I'll just go for weird and story ideas you haven't written before.

1) Monty Python/SG-1 cross-over, featuring recurring characters from the Flying Circus series.

2) An SG-1 "fountain of youth" story. Can alter either physical age or behavior. More than one team member affected. Original team.

3) Lord Peter Whimsy/ST:TNG crossover. Include mint julep and a rubber duck.

I didn't see this before and since you're working on a massive reward fic for me, feel no pressure. This is something I've thought of before and just don't have the nerve to write.

BtVS/Harry Potter/SG-1: SG-1, along with representatives from a new government agency which is slowly taking over the Stargate project (the Watcher's Council post S7) go through the stargate on a trial run to get the feel of things and end up in the department of mysteries. They manage to find their way out of that department only to walk in on the trial of Sirius Black for the murder of James, Lilly, etc.

Well, at least I got to share the idea, if nothing else.
