I spent nine hours Wednesday just balancing my accounts. Ugh! I did that last year, and vowed never to let it happen again! In the end, I basically just hoped my bank account balance was correct, and started over on Jan 1 of this year. What a pain. Glad you felt a sense of accomplishment in the end, though!
...all I have to do is cut back on things like books and DVDs and fast food and I should be fine until I get hired somewhere. All I have to do is stop buying large items like a treadmill and a game table. What am I thinking? Must be more fiscally responsible... *grin*
The first was "Court Jester", which I am informed is part of the Top Three necessary videos for any SCA member's education. Well, now I have to go out and rent this! I've seen the other two, of course. By the Sword (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0101524/) is generally acknowledged as a movie every fencer should see at some point. I've been meaning to see Moulin Rouge, glad to hear you think it's OK (if not great).
I believe in weighing up the facts for oneself and making the decision that feels right, regardless of what the party line or public opinion might be. Me, too! I don't want to conform to party lines, especially since I'm a political moderate. On some things, I'm very right-oriented. However, I have some topics that I lean very left on. So, I like to keep my options open and see who I relate to the most.
Also, as he already possesses an Associate's degree, he'd go straight to Airman First Class. Hope he does well with that, it sounds pretty cool. And as you note, it's not like he would likely be directly in harm's way. My friend AirMan was recently promoted, so he's technically an airman anymore. He'll always be that to me, though! *grin*
Tomorrow, after church, I'm off the parents' house again. Hope you had a nice time with your family. Did you tell them you've been posting pics of them online and having your friends comment on them? :)
*sniffle* I have a cold, too... Mom's sick. The injectable medication she's been taking for her severe osteoporosis has been making her ill Sorry to hear you're both under the weather. I will be sure to pray for each of you, and hope you're feeling peachy keen in the very near future!
