He's so self-contained, losing control seems like it would be one of his nightmares... but it all worked out in the end. (Of course cynical!me points out John could have deliberately turned him down to earn more favor.)

What I really wondered was what Fusco was thinking. But I didn't think I had a good enough handle on him to explore that scene.
