Oh, wow...I'm not all that familiar with CSI (don't get me started on their hand waving of procedure, protocol, forensics, etc.), but this is wonderful! I absolutely love that you made it go AU and let Xander and Anya get married, as they should have in canon. And I really hate that it couldn't be pushed a bit further and let Anya survive, but the way it is serves the story particularly well despite the pain (I was more upset than I ever expected I would be when Anya died in canon, especially saving that weak-minded twit Andrew).
