He's good at that, isn't he? I think with different people playing Finch and Reese, the show would've been just another vigilante/cop show knockoff. But with just minimal shifts of expression and tone, they completely sold me on the characters' emotions and motivations from the start, and I'll put up with a lot of plot iffiness for characters that hook me that solidly.
